Historical Museum

Step back in time at the Norseman Historical Museum. Hosted in the old school of mines building, the museum is run by Norseman's own Historical Society who will guide you throughout.

This is the best place to be when looking for some local history! Volunteers at the museum have lived in Norseman for years and have the knowledge to prove it.

Learn about the history of Norseman’s and the surrounding Goldfields area, including the town’s origins as a gold rush settlement and the lives of the miners who worked there.

If you’re a history buff or just looking to fill the day, the local museum is worth the visit.

Opening hours are Monday to Friday 10am-1pm (closed Thursdays).
