Fraser Range (123km from Norseman)

Fraser Range Station is a historic sheep-turned-cattle station, located just off the Eyre Highway. Often described as an “oasis in the outback”, it offers a peaceful break from the road.

Visitors can explore the grounds, which feature historic machinery, native wildlife and seasonal wildflowers.

A unique coastal destination, the Eyre Bird Observatory offers a striking contrast to the inland landscape, with white sand dunes and abundant birdlife.

Access is via a partly unsealed, sandy track, and a 4WD is required. Transfers may be arranged in advance.

Visitors can enjoy walking trails, a small museum and overnight accommodation.
